Bunaken is a marvelous diving place just outside Manado on Sulawesi. The shallow reef flats and the coral-encrusted steep walls are inhabited by a very rich variety of underwater marine life. Here you can expect to see napoleon wrasses, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, barracudas, butterflyfishes, angelfishes, nudibranchs, soft and hard corals - just to name a few of the over 2 500 species of fish and 70 genera of corals that are found in the waters of Bunaken National Marine Park.
